My favourite hotel. The views are spectacular. The rooms are perfectly set up. Clean, huge bed, everything you could possibly need. I cant commend the staff enough, so welcoming and helpful. Thank you, we'll visit this place again without doubt.

Fantastic stay definitely recommend, had a great time for my girlfriends birthday they sorted a bouquet of flowers out for me, upgraded our room to the bowness suite a unforgettable stay, staff were very friendly , spa lovely and relaxing and afternoon was perfect in cocktail bar overlooking Windermere , can’t wait to book again

Have stayed at Briery Wood many times over the last 7 years or so. Consistently good, spotless bathrooms, fabulous breakfast and really excellent restaurant. Reasonably priced for the terrific standard. But the staff are exceptional. Friendly, professional and well trained. We like that they keep the staff on through the winter and chatting with the housekeeper found she is in her 21st year. Many of the others there 10 years +. That says a lot about a business for me. Also very dog friendly, plenty of parking and stunning gardens to walk your pooch x
