When we first arrived, tired after a long journey, the desk person thought it funny to tell us we had no reservation. We then had to register because she hadn’t bothered to process the preregistration I did on line. They put a $248 security deposit on your Visa without informing you. We booked a two day stay. After the first day there was no housekeeping service. Bed was not made, no wet towels replaced, floor unswept and garbage containers not emptied. If you are just looking for a place to crash it was acceptable. The breakfast wasn’t up to the standards set by places like Best Western. If you just want a mediocre place to crash for a night it was fine. We were hoping for something better. We won’t be using Days Inn again.

Water was undrinkable. Literally tasted like sand and dirt. We were not given a do not disturb sign for our room. There was trash outside the door on the sidewalk, LITERALLY EMPTY CANS IN THE TREES. They say they have breakfast, but dont even bother. It was literally just cereal and a sad plain bagel. It is one of only two hotels in the area we were staying but we clearly picked wrong.

I do not keep a lot of money in my checking account, so didn’t I have the funds to cover the $250 deposit. They would not take it off my credit card. Luckily, a friend covered it for me.
