Don't stay at this hotel! The plans is a dump and it's right next door to a very loud car racing track which no one told us. They offer a luggage cart but there are stairs so you can use it. The tv didn't even work. Wall paper was coming off the walls. Place was a dump. Toilet didn't flush right and sink didn't drain

Don't stay here. Unfortunately, this hotel is less than a km from a racetrack which is unbelievably loud. Louder than you're imagining. Outside of that noise, it's an older building in the middle of nowhere that needs an update...or a new building altogether. There is one small elevator but when you get onto your floor, there is a set of stairs halfway along which isn't fun to navigate with multiple suitcases especially when they've given you the farthest room from the lobby. Just find somewhere better to stay.... I didn't stick around to try the breakfast they offer.

We stayed at the HFX Airport Hotel in Goffs, Nova Scotia, for an overnight layover on our way home from Amsterdam. The free shuttle from the airport was quick and convenient, and it was already waiting for us when we arrived. The hotel is older, which shows in areas like the carpets and pool facilities, but it met our expectations for a short stay. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it served its purpose well. Dining options nearby are limited, and getting into Halifax is at least a $50 Uber ride, so plan ahead if you’re looking for more variety. The hotel has both an indoor and outdoor pool, though they are older in style. The outdoor pool didn’t look particularly clean, so we skipped it, but the indoor pool was fine. Both pools start at about four feet deep and go down to nine feet, so they’re better suited for older kids or adults rather than young children. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was decent, and breakfast was a typical continental offering. Overall, it was a convenient choice for a quick overnight stop near the airport.

Communication regarding the airport shuttle pick up could use some work. Called and waited for over half an hour and was told the bus had come three times already. The rooms are quite tiny and not very well setup. Theres gaps by the door on every side making it an uneasy sleep as you can see into the halls

This was a convenient location for our flight leaving the next afternoon. It was a very busy place with lots of people coming and going, but the staff was efficient. The breakfast area was very crowded the next morning and there were some things that ran out before it was the end time. Property looked as if it got very heavy use, but in general, it was a good place to stay.

Small improvements add up to a big change.

While the included breakfast is far from perfect, it’s far better than the old buffet offering, which had become less attractive with every visit. Small improvements are evident throughout: fresh paint, nicer bedding, and other little touches add up to a more pleasant stay. Before the branding change, this hotel was very tired and showing big signs of its age.

The only wonderful part of #143 suite was a comfy bed with lots of pillows. After that, I can't write anything positive! I asked for a quiet room. However, because of the booking I made according to the hotel staff, the room I got was next to the major highway ... really noisy. Plus, the staff did not share that it was down a long hallway nor to park around the the building where the side doors are near the suite. Finally, something outside was banging on the bedrm. window early morning (3am) and I couldn't get back to sleep. Never will stay here again!!
