It was worth the $70 paid. Room was clean. Only had one towel and one single serve coffee pod but they brought more when asked.

About what you’d expect for the low rate

The hotel is not in great shape. It looks like maybe they are doing renovations. The pool and hot tub are closed. No bed bugs, though, and the neighbouring guests were quiet.

No pool, no ice machine, no elevator, filthy carpet in hallways, bathroom smells of urine, only sheets no comforter. Spacious room, fridge and microwave are ok. It’s a little bit on the third world side. I didn’t pay much for this room, it is too gross for me,I won’t be back.

Kinda a sketchy area. The upper entrance to the second floor is supposed to require a key for entry, but has been ripped open and no longer secure. Door to my room also was bent open at the bottom as if someone tried to pry it open. You get what you pay for. AC was cold, staff was nice and they do have security cameras.

The room with 2 queen beds was very spacious and clean. The pool was closed. The breakfast was very disappointing and unsatisfactory; we had breakfast somewhere else.

Property is currently under renovation. Beds new and extremely comfortable. Upgraded for free to suite to be given a main floor room for mother with limited mobility. Area is business right off trans- Canada #1. Convenient to hospital and multiple dining options.

Did not stay here. We checked in, went and took a look at the room and left shortly after. It was horrifying. Walking through the halls and leading up to the room, there was what looked like blood stains on walls and carpet. There was yellow tape around the pool area that looked like a crime scene. Our children were terrified with how creepy this hotel looked. Gave really creepy vibes. There were tenants who stay there long term (month to month), who came out of their suites to talk to us and made us feel really uncomfortable.

Hotel is older and needs updating. Outside garbage can was overflowing and garbage on ground by entrance. Staff was nice. Room was clean and bed was comfortable with nice bedding. Hallways had carpet in need of cleaning and/or replacement. Some hallways had an an odor. Unsure if a renovation has been started but the pool/hottub area is permantly closed housing room items. The breakfast area had cereals out but no milk. Some walls in hotel look to have water damage.

The ad for the motel is misleading. There is no pool, the gym is a treadmill. Our room has a coffee maker. But no condiments for the coffee. As well, charged 200 to my credit card as a damage deposit. This is the first hotel to charge me on my journey. Will not come back

I picked the hotel based on location. It had a good restaurant in the lot adjacent and good parking. Check in staff were not super friendly, the grounds not very clean, narrow and dirty stairs to the room, breakfast substandard, the sink in my room blocked, a party in the room next to me with the door open and staff did nothing about this. I won’t stay here again.

It Was a terrible stay, the toilet didn't work, no towels in the room. carpet in the room old and smelly, all furniture old. the corridor doors wasn't locked, everyone could go in. pool didn't work, and the breakfast was so terrible you could not even see that the is one, never will stay again in this hotel.

Dilapidated, dirty and unkempt. Hotel falling apart, put alongside patrons who were living there (low income). Open use of drugs on back of hotel. Most electronic doors were non-functional, unable to access hallways and rooms itself. Room incredibly dirty and dated. However the staff member was extremely nice.

We regret to book with Flamingo Hotel. The room was out dated, especially curtains and doors. The curtains couldn’t fully closed, an arm long gap between two draps. I reported to front desk. Two staff came to check and said to repair it the next day, but never happened for next two days. We used paper clips to tie draps together for 3-night stay. Also, two queen beds only have one duvet. I asked receptionist, she said will send it over to our room, but for sure they totally forgot behind again. I had to ask again at night before going to sleep. They finally brought it over. One of the duvets and bath towels were so disgusting with yellow stains and toilet bowl with dark spots. Bathroom only has a small roll of toilet paper, I had to go to front desk to ask more. The swimming pool and hot tub closed, looks like for a long time, but the hotel doesn’t have a word in their advertisement. Overall, the services and facilities were so poor. If you have other choices, please do not book with this one!

I have no idea who greeted me as they didn't introduce themself. Firstly, he asked if I wanted to upgrade my room. I asked "what's the cost?" He said "$30." I said "No, thank you." He said "I will upgrade you anyway and if you don’t like it then you can move to your original room." I said "fine." I was too sore and tired to argue about it. No elevator. Second floor room halfway through the building. No secure door to enter building. Enter the room, two beds, two chairs and table sitting area, telephone (need to scan QR code for directory), microwave and small fridge. The armour for hanging clothes had an iron screwed to the inside and a full-size ironing board occupying the interior. Where to put it if one had clothes to hang? Two remotes; one for DVD Player that wasn’t there, the other for the TV. Surprisingly, there was a balcony too. Not clean nor sanitary. Neighbor's frosted window and air-conditioner shares the space. It is their only window too. The balcony becomes a pool when it rains, with its own waterfall. The water has nowhere to go. There was cigarette butts and garbage along the wall crevices. The glass railing wasn’t cleaned. For that matter, the main window of the room wasn’t cleaned either. The side window that opened up wasn't cleaned, sticky when opened and was unlocked. The beds: done up nicely, one with a quilt covering, the other with a flat sheet. The quilt bed had the fitted sheet inside out.
