Hi, room on 2nd floor. Elevator dysfunctional, old smoke detector wires hanging from ceiling without cap cover, entry door very very difficult to close, & telephone in room did not work. One of bed covers with white “stain”. All Front Desk Reps were friendly.

The staff was friendly but there were a few things wrong with the property/room. The mini fridge didn’t work, the elevator didn’t work from the ground floor to go up, the A/C didn’t work past 9pm, and the carpet underneath the Ac Unit was soaked so it felt ugly to walk on

The bed was clean and very comfortable. Overall it was clean and welcoming, the staff was professional and friendly. I was so happy it was pet free since I have allergies to dogs and cats. The breakfast, though hot, was very basic, would have liked some fruit and maybe pancakes. Close to restaurants. I would book with this hotel again.

It's a really nice place to stay. The only negative thing is that the elevator breaks down weekly.

I paid $197 for one night in a room with 1 king and one queen. The room was okay..nothing fancy but i guess what really got me was the breakfast. For a hotel in the heart of Texas, called BIG COUNTRY, i was expecting sausage and gravy, texas shaped waffles...stuff like that. Other then that everything was okay. I was just expecting a little more from the breakfast with the cost of the room and with a name like BIG COUNTRY.

Horrible experience

It was a horrible experience and very disappointed with our stay. #1 no working ice machines #2 dirty towel hanging in bathroom #3 loud noise outside the 2nd story window next to our room and had to move a smaller room at 10:30 #4 the whole 2nd floor smelled like pot smoke #5 lumpy uncomfortable mattress.# 6 breakfast didn't have any coffee. We travel frequently and this was a nightmare stay. Also both rooms doors were open when we went to enter them the lock wasn't engaged.
