The outside is definately looks old, however, the inside is very clean. Rooms have been renovated. The bathrooms haven't been renovated yet, however, they are very clean and in good working order. Breakfast and happy hour were both good. Extremely good value for what you get and the location.

I truly didn’t have high expectations for an older property, but truly I was completely mind blown. First, the staff was incredible! Extremely kind from the moment I walked in. The breakfast attendant Vernon was absolutely amazing, and a true treasure. The building is older, so there was some minor damage. But honestly unless you were truly looking you wouldn’t notice. The rooms were super clean, and well put together. I’ve been recommending booking here to everyone I know that travels to Abilene. Definitely one of the best places to stay.

They kicked us out because they supposedly saw "smoke" comming out of our room and accused my 2 yr old of smoking weed in the room. Most ridiculous thing i ever heard in my life.

Need a constant fan setting on the room AC units to prevevent guests from being awakened each time the compressor starts and stops (noisy). Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

This is an older redecorated property. Everything was extremely clean and the decor was beautiful. They had free beer in the lobby for the evening with a jukebox. The breakfast was wonderful. They had scrambled eggs three was, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, tortillas on request, waffles, and oatmeal as well as two cold cereals, bottled water and 4 breakfast drink choices. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The only bad side was the bathroom fixtures were not replaced so there were scratches, etc in tub and sink but they were clean.
