Poor Hotel Stay

Outdated, hot inside of hotel in hallways and entry, no towels in room, pool freezing cold and unusable. We had to ask for a coffee pot. I will never stay here again even after being a return customer. Restaurant and bar closed but all of the bar lights and signs were on.

I was told, "it closed 3 years ago due to staffing" Yet, the sign is still on the building outside and the website indicated breakfast being avaliable. Hotel was just okay. Property wasn’t neat and tidy, hotel halls were a bit dingy. Rooms were clean, but not spotless. Bedding, especially pillows, were mediocre. I expected much nicer from a Red Lion.

Okay, but not great

Check in was fine but thought it was strange that they asked us if we wanted a coffee maker and then gave us a tray with a coffee maker, some coffee packets and a couple of cups. I use a walker and my husband was packing our luggage so it was pretty inconvenient. Thought they should have offered to deliver it to our room since we already had our hands full. Both the restuarant and lounge were closed and no mention of it on the website. That was one f the reasons we decided to stay there so we wouldn't have to go out.

The property is run down and looks like 1980s few electrical outlets . Our room was very quiet and a great view , it’s ok if you just want to sleep and be on your way !
