It was awful there was no air conditioning anywhere at this lodge, no water,no ice machine, people upstairs walking around all night heavy footed. Coffee was Keurig coffee from McDonald's. Shower head messed up, bathroom sink cracked. All outdoor amenities are.false.i would not recommend this place to anyone

Rustic & basic, but nice & clean. Bed & bathroom were good. Near a river in a nice setting, on the main road. Room had a ceiling fan & kept the windows open for fresh cool air. Would stay again

Nice convenient affordable spot

We have stayed here twice, recently. Room 17 was nice, easy access and 2 beds in 2 separate rooms. Nice use of space. Unfortunately, the front room window at street level had no screen. We like to sleep cold. It was a bit stuffy. This time we stayed in room 4. There was not as much room as room 17 and there was a couple of steps access. There was a screen in the window and an overhead fan.

Clean but temporarily confused

The first picture of the lodge is of a different property about a mile away, which made us think we were booking a different place. This motel doesn't look like much from the road, but it's roomy and clean. It has great beds.

We stayed in one of the cabins passing through town. Adorable little place cozied in the back of the lodge, near the river and trees so it was so peaceful. Great space for our dogs. Thanks for accommodating us. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It is very spacious and the beds are comfortable. We were able to park right out front. Having the full kitchen was nice and bonus we got a special $49 rate for staying the last Sunday in May.

Very displeasing and disappointing

If I wasn’t so tired I would have went somewhere else. Cabin smelled dirty. Toilet was nasty, shower had mold, shower curtain was too short water everywhere every time we showered we had to clean up water. The shower was so small. Light fixture in bathroom light bulb out and dried water drippings looked very gross. Old blood stains on sheets, lipstick stains on pillowcases, I went to get fresh sheets, the very nice gentleman gave me sheets that were not folded just rolled up and smelled musty just like they came out from grandmas smelly old cabinet. Space heaters everywhere the one in the bedroom was so loud my husband slept on the dirty couch. The coffee pot was filthy. Light fixtures had bugs. Someone had there radio booming at 7:00 in the morning It was not a very restful place at all for our family. I would not have stayed if we weren’t so very tired.

Cozy and comfortable

We were on an early season biking trip and made a stop in here to take a shelter from a snow storm. It was a perfect choice! Such a lovely and cozy place. Great and pleasant staff welcomed us (bonus:fresh baked cookies) 😀 Creede is only 20 miles away. Gone Rogue is a great local place to eat, if you like house made from scratch food.

The office smelled like pot smoke. The motel refused to refund the one nights stay when we left a day early. The reservation was messed up from the beginning. I was given the excuse that since it was made online through Expedia, I had to go through them.

I wish I had known something about this place before I booked a room, it was the worst place I’ve stayed in quite some time. The room looked like the only thing that had been updated since the 80s was the TV and the toilet. Even the floor in my room was sagging and lumpy, with carpet staples or something sharp poking through in a few spots. The stairs and walkways felt like they were going to fall off the building. Even though it’s a non smoking hotel, there were I let’s full of sand and cigarette butts outside most rooms. The door to my room looked like it had been forced open at some point and the latch plate was hanging loose in the door frame. I had to work at it to get the door to stay closed when I went out for food. The deadbolt worked, but the key I was given didn’t fit that lock, so all I had to protect my belongings while I ran to pick up dinner was the doorknob latch.
