Very friendly front desk staff!!!! Hotel needs some work. Dingy, drawer knobs missing. No working ice machine. Holes in the walls. Comfortable beds!!!

I arrived to the property because I had a friend get stranded in Michigan and they called me to help them (we live in Illinois). After driving 3.5 hours to get there we weren't able to stay at the facility. As soon as we walked into the lobby area there was a strong smell of mildew. Then when I was attempting to check in, the desktop system was down so the receptionist went to get a laptop to attempt to enter my personal information (I did not allow for that to happen). Once the system came back online, I was given keys to my room (131). We proceeded to go into the room and the key would not open the door. We went back to the desk and the receptionist came and performed some sort of combination of: handle up, handle down, jiggle the knob, in order for us to get in the room. I'd love to be able to say that we were able to rest after this, but unfortunately this was not the case. The room smelled even worse than the lobby did, and this for me was the final straw. I went back to the desk and informed the receptionist that I would not be staying there and asked for a refund. I was told that I would not be able to receive a refund because I paid on Expedia. I had to book another room at the Holiday Inn which was much better and we were finally able to rest.

The pool was closed. The room was terrible see my pictures. But for those who can’t see my pictures the bathroom faucet was coming apart. The veneer on the table in the room was coming up, some of the carpet molding was off the wall. The toilet rocked when you sat on it and freely moved if you touched it. There was no cover on the ironing board. I left after one night.

Only half of our room had power. We were only able to use the TV and 1 lamp. There wasn’t even a working outlet to charge our phones. We specifically rented the room with a jet tub and it didn’t even work. The facility is very dated and is in desperate need of an upgrade. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. No ice, no kleenex, very old hotel (and it looks it!) No coffee, no breakfast even though the website said so. . Bathroom was VERY small and sink faucet was loose. If you are looking for a basic bed and clean room, stay here. If you want amenities, go elsewhere.

Days inn website stated that there was an indoor pool and breakfast. Well the pool has been out of commission since before winter and the hotel manager stated that they do not do breakfast at all. He said there is coffee in lobby. Well there was no coffee offered. The website did not state that the pool was down. The description of the hotel was severely not accurate

It was filthy dirty! The grossest place i have every seen! We left 15 minutes after checking in and told them it was way to dirty. I was sick to my stomach. I called Wyndham and complained. I will be contacting Hotels.com when i get home. Im hoping to get my money back since we did not stay. BEWARE

A True Horror Show — But With Fewer Amenities Staying at the Days Inn in Albion, Michigan felt less like a hotel visit and more like surviving the opening act of a horror film. The only thing missing was ominous violin music and a chainsaw-wielding maniac — though honestly, that might’ve improved the atmosphere. They don't advertise breakfast, and thank God for that. After seeing the state of the place, I wouldn't trust them to safely toast bread. I imagine their version of a continental breakfast would be a stale muffin and a side of food poisoning. The room? A masterpiece of neglect. It smelled like moldy cheese left to ferment in a hot car, and we found bugs crawling around like they were permanent residents. The jetted tub? Nonfunctional. Just a sad, oversized basin of disappointment. The outlets next to the bed didn’t work either, which was perfect for when we wanted to charge our phones and cry ourselves to sleep at the same time. We asked to speak with the manager and were told they’d be in at 9 AM. Surprise — they never showed. Maybe they escaped. I wouldn’t blame them. Albion itself feels like the remnants of an experiment gone wrong. The townspeople had that uncanny, unsettling vibe — like extras from a Cronenberg film with makeup that never came off. All in all, this place was bottom of the barrel. No comfort, no hospitality, just a lot of unanswered questions and the faint sound of our dignity slipping away.

Don’t fall for this hotel. The photos are a scam. Upon arrival i noticed the property was in terrible and unsafe condition. I DID NOT stay and ended up booking a different hotel. And Expedia won’t refund me. Disappointing of them that they tolerate fraud.

Pictures are very old!! Outer Doors didn't close all the way. Outside and inside very dirty and run down. Room fixtures were dirty and broken. Several drawers were missing handles. Mold in bathroom. Pool is permanently closed. Will never stay at again...Very disappointed that this hotel is even offered on expedia. DO NOT BOOK HERE!! Disgusting

DON’T BOOK HERE, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!

When we first pulled up to Days Inn in Albion, MI there were two cars in the parking lot that looked like it had been robbed. The wheels were missing and sitting on bricks. Next, there were boxes sitting outside the hotel entrance almost blocking the doors. Once I entered the property, I had rung the bell four times before I started walking around the hotel looking for someone to help me. While walking around I noticed that the pool which was one of the reasons I booked that location was empty with blue tarts laying over top of it. I asked the gentleman who finally came to the front desk about the pool and he said it hasn’t beee. Open for two years which was disappointing. Because of the look of the hotel conditions, I asked to see my room “127” to check its cleanliness before checking in. Once I went to observe the room, I notice that two of three lamps didn’t have a light bulb. All three lamps were dusty like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The chair to the table had stains on it and was sitting in between the queen beds instead of under the desk. The bathroom tube was dirty, the shower head look rusted and the towels and wash rags had stains on them. I called the complaint into Expedia and asked for a refund for my two night stay and they said they had to call the hotel to get approval from the manager for the refund but the guy at the front desk told Expedia that there was no manger available at the hotel. I asked if a supervisor was available and he said no. Terrible!
