The front desk person sent me to room 242. I called him back immediately because the a/c fan was very noisy. The nice maintenance gentleman gave me a different room. Room 262. Everything was fine until someone started banging on our door at 10:30 pm at night. I told him wrong room. He comes back with the person who checked me in. He was banging hard on my door and said if I didn't open the door he'd call the cops. I cracked open the door and told him what happened. Do you think he'd apologize for waking me up and scaring me like that? The place is falling apart and his actions were pathetic. They shouldn't have charged me for their mistake, but they did. No worries, never again will I stay at a Days Inn. Is give my experience a zero star of I could.

The room was noisy (I got a room next to the boiler room), the HVAC unit was not very good--it required setting for heating or cooling and couldn't switch from one to the other (so l had to manually change from heat to fan to keep the room temperature relatively constant.
