I was in town for work. The privately owned hotel was fine for the one night I needed a clean, comfortable bed. Cons: The room was outdated and I could hear the neighbors in the adjoining room. The free breakfast left a lot to be desired. Pros: this property was very affordable and terribly convenient. Parking was plentiful and convenient.

My boyfriend and I went to stay the night for a fun little getaway last night, first impressions were great! very pretty lobby, staff members were GREAT and helpful!! The stairs to get to the second floor was a bit inconvenient, as we weren’t told about an elevator so a case of water went up the stairs. Rooms were decently clean, very outdated bathrooms however, shower-head was very low, holes in the carpet, window was stained or broken or something we couldn’t see out of it, there was a small stain on the pillow case. Went to visit the pool and there was LOADS of kids for a party. very unfortunate as they were all misbehaved. The pool overall was very nice!! Breakfast in the morning was hot and fresh. Pretty decent hotel overall, just needs updated.

Nightmare in Altoona

The beds were absolutely horrible We slept less than two hours if that. There was no hot water in the shower, and it took 5 minutes to be able to turn on the shower to begin with. When the heat (which barely worked) turned off and on it was like a locomotive was in the room. The breakfast would have been better a homeless shelter. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS "HOTEL" We should have slept in our car.

Very disappointing---we had reserved a room with the express purpose of watching the Super Bowl while drinking in the bar area--but they closed the bar early, 1/2 hour before the game started---feel like they should have something on their website to let people know that their posted hours may not be adhered to--oh well hopefully next Super Bowl we can find a different hotel
