Great Hotel in Downtown Altoona

We are in Altoona a lot and always stay at the Wyndham Downtown. Always very clean with nice rooms. It now has a nice little bar inside as well.

We enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was that we had a suite to sleep 6 and there were no blankets for the fold out couch. There was a pillow and a sheet that didn't fit, but no blankets.

The room was much larger than expected which was a nice surprise! It also included a kitchen which was not included in the room photos. I do suggest room photos need to be updated on the site, the surprise was nice but I would love to know what I’m booking before I book it. The woman at the front desk who checked us in was phenomenal, I wish I would have caught her name. She was super helpful. Provided us with a list of nearby dining options and also supplied us with plates for our dinner that we had ordered. She was always eager to help.
