I booked a king bed with a sofa bed couch. Upon arrival, I was given our room key and entered a room only a bed. When I questioned the front desk worker, I was informed that the room that I booked doesn’t exist. There are no king beds with a sofa sleeper in them. I informed her that I have two children. I also showed her what I booked through Expedia. We ended up switching to a double queen room, she came upstairs after I informed her that the room I entered, had no bedding, no towels, was dirty. She unlocked a different room and when I went inside, there was a man sleeping in the bed. She muttered the F word and ran downstairs before coming up again to present a different room that one was acceptable. At least she was really trying to accommodate us. The pool floor is chipped and it feels like you’re walking on sand and the pieces stick to your feet.

This hotel was fantastic with one exception, they keep the doors to the outside unlocked all the time, even at night and I consider that an unacceptable safety hazard.

Hotel is declining over the years we have stayed. The bikini bar rewards program ends this month, that is a big loss in our opinion. The employees have turned over a lot. The long service employees are almost all gone, fired or off to better opportunities where they are better appreciated.

Went 1st week of Oct, we have been here many times in the summer. Wasn’t surprised that Tiki bar was closed but very surprised the inside restaurant and bar was closed on Sunday and Mondays now. This left us no choice but to leave for breakfast and to leave for dinner or a nightcap. Also was surprised to not have a microwave in our room. But still a great place to stay overall

No elevator to second floor

Room was dated and need updating. Carpet in hallway and staircase needed cleaning. There is no available elevator and all second floor guests must use the stairs. I have severe arthritis and using the stairs to carry bags was difficult. Staff was friendly but there was a wait in line to check in.
