Very affordable and clean. My room was quiet (no hallway noise in the morning) and clean. The TV was a little funky to use as the guide didn’t seem to work, but not a biggie. Staff was friendly and very courteous. Will def stay here again.

Clean and quiet stay

Nice place and great value with lots of recent renovation completed. Room was totally updated along with the lobby area. Parking lot was well lit making it a safe place to park for the night. The hotel manager was eager to assist.

The rooms are newly renovated and mine was beautiful. New carpet, paint etc. The owners are genuinely nice people and they have a true attitude of service. I would definitely stay here again.

Good for the price

Nice big breakfast area, hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were hard. Pool towels needed some fabric softener, but pool and hot tub area were very nice. Room looked nice, but bed was uncomfortable. Base of toilet was dirty and there were 2 almost empty rolls of toilet paper.

We were traveling to take our daughter to Iowa State for a college visit and stayed over the night. The hotel was very good, the room was nice and clean and we even enjoyed using the hot tub. In the morning they had a standard hotel breakfast of waffles, cereal, bagels, doughnuts, ect. It met all our needs, a good clean room, nice staff, and a pretty good breakfast. The hot tub and pool were a bonus. If we ever come to Ames again, we will definitely stay here again.
