Clean- needs some updates

This hotel is clean and I love the close location to Iowa State campus. The room doors could stand to be replaced. They are lightweight and wood and block no sound. You could hear every conversation in the hallway. There’s also a big enough gap between the door and the door jam that I could see light into the hall.

Ames visit

Service was good. Light switch for heater fan seemed to be broken as the light never shut off. Couple of trash items left behind that were a little gross. Overall not a bad place to visit, and we've stayed here before. Maybe just some rough edges that need attention. Overall a nice place and staff.

It is an older facility that has been well maintained, and that all my requirements it was good for the price. The bed was excellent as well as the pillows. The soap and shampoo were the highest quality. Breakfast was a little disappointing. I had a circular fried egg that included red and green peppers which is something I cannot eat. However, there was enough to make a good breakfast.

The spot is convenient to the stadiums for ISU sports. Rooms were clean and the front desk was friendly. We had a great stay. Beds were comfortable and everything we did on the weekend was minutes away.

We picked this hotel to be able to use the hot tub after our busy/ stressful day, only to be told once we arrived that it has been broken for a month and unavailable. Due to it being non refundable, we stayed but we're very disappointed.
