Book Anchorage Alaska Railroad Depot hotels

One of the nicest, reasonably priced hotels anywhere. Really well-appointed, great bed and bedding. All perfect.

Staff was good Breakfast was okay Premises needs attention & upgrade Elevator has nasty smell Carpet in hallways needs replaced Price was high for quality of building

Great stay! Quiet, clean area. Very comfortable room. Would stay here again in the future.

The lobby looked decent and was clean. The room was horribly outdated, moldy and falling apart. Beard clippings on the bathroom sink. Candy, rocks, & dog food on the floor around the room. The pool was extremely cold and slimy. Very loud area right next to the rail depot. A lot of vagrant foot traffic in the area. 11 out of 10 I would never recommend this place to anyone. We checked out early.

So what started off with the rudest front desk clerk I’ve seen in 30+ years of renting hotel rooms. If the reservation was refundable we would have left and found another place. I’m glad we didn’t, the hotel was great, the rest of the staff we saw later was extremely friendly, the showers were amazing and the lobby was great. Only negative part was the woman working the front desk when we checked in.
