I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay close to My Rainier. They have decent sized rooms and have all the amenities you would need to make your stay comfortable.
We had a little cabin, very clean, very quiet. The kitchen was set up with basic equipment, fridge and good water pressure. We were a one night stay, but could’ve easily stayed a week.
A unique experience for sure. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the full property and the cafe. Was only there for one night, and our stay was good. Really neat story on how this place came to be. Location is top notch for a visit to Mt. Rainier, 5 miles from entrance. Great little coffee stand 1 minute down the road that opens @ 5:30, that’s my kind of place for an early riser.
The room is very spacious and clean. Also has plenty of storage and shelf. The only downside is that we stayed at the second floor, you may bump you head against the A ceiling on the side of the room.
Really nice coffee shop at check in with smoothies and other treats. Beds were nice and comfortable. Close proximity to Steven's Canyon Entrance and other restaurants.
We loved our stay here!! The staff was excellent and the room was comfy. It had a fun coffee/ice cream shop and restaurant that we went to on property. Great outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful weather. We would definitely stay here again!
We like to stay in historic motels. We Loved the spacious wooden cabin assigned to us. There’s a nice to go breakfast at the office plus great hamburgers and live music next door.
However, the shower head in our cabin was faulty and no light over the mirror to shave nicely. The beds were comfortable. The cabin had a fantastic exterior porch, a nice refrigerator & microwave.
Very close to Mount Rainer NP.
