We had two rooms and a service dog with us. From check in to check out every department was friendly. The kitchen lady last weekend was a nice older women who was so sweet. Made you feel.like your great auntie was making breakfast and making sure you were full. The kids had a great time in the pool and the amenities in the hotel. The rooms were clean and taken care of. Customer service was wonderful. Thank you for making our getaway less stressful.

The cyclone knocked out power to Astoria and surrounding communities. The manager, was wonderful and did us a huge favor by putting us in a first floor room with our slightly disabled dog. We had a room on the 4th floor, but with no power, there was no elevator. And our dog could not walk up the four flights of stairs. Jessi was at the front desk, and cool as a cucumber during the emergency. She helped guests, handed out flashlights, and put lights around the hallways and stairwells. Very professional all around. Kudos. As for the rooms... they we're both well appointed, clean, and very quiet. I didn't care that much for the pillows, and would have preferred something more firm, but the mattresses were great. The HVAC units worked flawlessly (except of course when there was no power). Breakfasts were good, though simple. All and all, a great three-night stay, in spite of the cyclone and power outage. We will definitely be coming back.

Although a tad isolated from other business, this hotel is just a short car ride away from downtown Astoria. The walking trail is just outside that also connects to downtown. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Love the cookie and chowder hours and breakfast was perfect.
