Astoria Stay

Great views and service. Loved sitting on patio for sunset. Nice to walk up and down river, and walked to pier 39 for dinner/beer and then coffee the next morning.

Room was clean, and the view from our fourth flloor room was great. But the room was tired and very used. We had wallpaper curling away from the drywall. The carpet was really old and needed replacing. Looking for HDMI plug-ins and did not find any. Had to unplug the lamp next to the bed and use an 110v adapter.

This will be our only stay at this motel!

Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted maid service (how would we know that ) we had not seen the suite? There were only three bath towels, no HDMI outlets, the bed in the sofa had very messy sheet (had they been used), They pool was not available most of our second day (one of the reasons we chose this hotel was the pool as we had our 3 great-grandkids with us) so we sent the kids to their uncles home (he has a salt water spa), When we asked questions of the front desk we felt like we were interrupting their phone time, the decor was very dated. We are from the Astoria-Warrenton area and were very disappointed considering we spent almost $500.00 for two nights and only had the kids with us for one night. Knowing the area we will once again go to The Crest motel. They are amazing and we would have stayed there except the kids wanted to swim.
