Then later I asked for an extra coffee cup, she said she didn’t have any and I needed to go ask at the restaurant. She shouldn’t be in hospitality industry with her attitude.

Front desk staff was rude to me from the moment I stepped in front of her before I can mutter a word. Nice to everyone before and after me. Especially rude the second time I spoke with her. Booked here because the last flight out ATL to EWR was oversold. A lot of others experiencing the same thing… I get to my first room there are bugs crawling on the pillow. Mind you, by the time I check in it is well after 12am. Exhausted is an understatement at this point so having to deal with bugs… I go back down and tell her the issue. She basically is flabbergasted like she could not believe bugs existed in this dirty hotel. Next room I was given smelled like someone had been hotboxing cigarettes. By this point I had to just call it a night and catch my quick Zz’s. Morning comes, and front desk lady is still especially rude to me however; pleasant to everyone else. If you have to stay in a budget hotel next to the airport, maybe pick Hyatt or somewhere else just not Sonesta South.

Burger restaurant food was really good , slow inattentive servers. Room was okay a little dated but clean, shower did not get too hot just warm . Staff pleasant, the pool has entirely too much chlorine we could not enjoy the pool or hot tub.
