The freshly squeezed, 3,600 square foot waterfront Tangerine Dream is the vacation bomb. The ground level has good parking, first-floor entry, laundry room with your very own private washer/dryer combo, and a locking garage. Watch out for the cut-out pirates lurking about for pictures! The waterfront side has a private heated pool, a private hot tub under the covered deck, a gas grill, and a dock to the water. Enter the first-floor game room and you'll find a pool table, entertainment center with LED TV, and wet bar with a full fridge and microwave. A bedroom has deck access, LCD TV, and a bathroom. This second-floor living area has a 25’ ceiling, all-glass to the water, hardwood floors, deck access, LED TV, surround sound, and resort furnishings, boasting ocean views from all rooms. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with solid surface countertops, tiled floors, stainless appliances, and a dining area. The front deck has a signature spiral stair that can get you to the pool in a flash. A primary bedroom has deck access, LCD TV, and bath with tub plus a rain shower stall. Level three has a furnished loft with views of the ocean and sound. Bedroom number three has a west deck, LCD TV, and set of bunks. One guest bedroom has deck access, LED TV, and ocean views, and another has an LCD TV. The ocean-view main bedroom has a full bath. A furnished office has deck access. Tangerine Dream is electric, eclectic, and guaranteed to please.

We arrived late evening, past office hours, but we found the house key just as instructed. The home was beautiful. We had a problem with a leak in one of the bathrooms, which was inconvenient, with the number in our family. The refrigerator in the kitchen was in need of repair; doors shelves were broken and overall condition was poor. The oven needed to be checked. It seemed to over heat. But, even with those inconveniences, we had a wonderful week in a beautiful home.

Great stay

We were pleasantly surprised to walk into a newly renovated home! It was beautiful and the perfect amount to help the home seem good as new. I traveled with 11 others and we enjoyed every bit of our stay in Avon. Walk to the beach was only 5 mins and easy.

The house pictures aren’t at all what we pulled up to. The house is white and blue. Had to check the address again. The inside has been redecorated but for the better. The outside had new decks but whoever did the work left a heck of a mess with nails everywhere including driveway, around the pool, and on the decks. The company running the house weren’t the best when communicating. They did fix the few things that were wrong like bringing a gas grill that wasn’t on the property but if it was my house that the company was running for me I would want to know. Few things lacking like the fact they had two coffee pots but only two coffee cups. The locks on the doors didn’t work the best. You really had to work with the doors to get them to lock. Staying with kids that’s a must. Also advertise that it’s a heated pool but wouldn’t give us that option. Was told by one person it was the rental companies policy but by another it was the owner. If advertised heated we should have got the option. They wouldn’t even let us pay. Didn’t really need the heat most days. Great week with the family though! Enjoyed the otters swimming behind the house in the water and the fact it was really close to store.

Friend vacation

This house was perfect for our friends and family to stay together. There was Enough room/privacy for multiple families. pool was nice and warm, the home did have debris around it possibly from previous renters. Some stains on carpets But overall fit our needs and we would stay there again! Internet issues so we were also unable to watch tv in the evenings. if you have to work while on vacation be prepared!

Spring Break with family

I wish I could say this was a great stay but it was very disappointing. When getting the keys at the office, when asked if they were done cleaning was told "its as good as it's going to get" apparently they were switching owners, that explained there being picture frames just lying on the floor. Not all of the beds were made when arriving and we had to sweep and vacuumed due to having a one year old with us. I pain on Monday (arrived on Friday) for the pool to be heated and it was freezing cold when we arrived. The WiFi was not working as well. We called and messaged to get this resolved. Did not get a message until the next day that they would be out to fix the issue. They arrived Saturday and the WiFi was fixed and they finally turned on for the pool to be heated. So I paid for 4 days for a heated pool and was only able to use for 2 days. Finally on Sunday it was warm enough to get in but not at the 86 degrees we were told it would be at, by Monday when we left it was finally at 82 degrees. Asked for a refund of those 2 days (Friday and Saturday), still haven't heard back from them. It was such a disappointment that we just left a day early. The two twin beds are horrible my son preferred to sleep on the floor. The location is wonderful, close to grocery stores. The home needs a lot of updating and TLC.

Vacasa is terrible

Processing through Vrbo was quick and easy as usual. However, that’s the only good thing about this trip. The day before arrival I was sent information for check in telling me my access code for the door would be provided once the house was cleaned and ready, which would be around 5pm. Not a problem. However, I had to contact the host, vacasa, at 6 to see if the house was ready. And then was told that I needed to go their office to pick up a physical key as the property didn’t have a keypad for the doors. Yet the day before, I was told I would be provided one. There were ZERO directions provided about check out. I received a text close to the actual check out time asking if I was ready to check out when I had already left 4 hours previous to that. The house needs some work. There are a lot of small cosmetic issues and you can tell it’s been a rental and hasn’t had maintenance in a while. Lots of light switches don’t do anything. Outlets coming out of the walls. Just overall seems like a rental that is kept operational, but definitely not a priority.

Beautiful home with great location.

Home is centrally located between the ocean and the sound. Beautiful property with plenty of amenities. Pool and hot tub well maintained. Restaurants and shopping very close by. Fabulous neighborhood. Great views from several balconies with a great breeze. Very orderly and clean. Easy check in process.

Great Vacay Spot!

This was our first time renting a beach house so I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall, this house was great! Locations was central to everything. The pool isn't huge but plenty big enough for what we needed. The hot tub was a 3 out of 5. It isn't level so kept losing water and kept getting kicked out of program mode so it had to be reset several times. The only other thing that really wasn't up to par was the grill. It was pretty much unusable which was a shame. Other than that, the house was clean, in good order, tons of room and a total pleasure to stay in! Considering rebooking it again for next year. :-)

Good location - needs improvements

The location was great - just a short walk from public access to the beach. The space was ideal with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their stay whether they were watching TV (basement only - the others did not work), napping, playing pool, or playing in the living room. The pool was well used by everyone and easily the best part of this property. The house was dirty upon our arrival. Some of the doors do not open/close properly. The refrigerator in the lower level took two days to keep anything cold. The railings were loose in some places and broken in another. The stove and oven were finicky at best and bordered on useless. The hot tub would have been great except it was surrounded by wasp nests and resulted in a 7 year old being stung. While this is a rental property, we certainly have experienced rental homes in much better condition. Finally - there was nothing stated about all comforters being removed from the home. We got there and found a bag of damp, smelly pillows and a comforter. When I called the property management I spoke with a very friendly woman who informed me there should be blankets left for each bed since comforters were removed due to COVID-19. It took two phone calls, an email, and two days to get a single blanket in the house. If you’re looking for a great location with a pool and an and excellent floor plan, this house has all three. Don’t expect much more.
