This hotel is located in a retail development, where it seemed to be the neglected stepchild next to the shops and restaurants. It was hard to find the entrance and unclear where to park. The facilities were pretty run down: little things like the elevator call button not lighting, and big things like a half-demolished brick wall across from the entrance. The walls were very thin – the conversation in the room next door sounded like they were right there in my room. Finally, even if you’re hungry in the morning, skip breakfast.
The positives: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. These are probably the 3 most important things for me, and they brought my rating up to 3 stars instead of 2.
