I would love to give this property and overall five all the way through but we brought three teenagers who were on March break to a hotel that had a pool. The pool was down for renovations. I had booked it through Expedia and there was no notification as to the pool being out of order. On the day we were to arrive I called to ask to have a cot in our room and the message said that their pool was down. It was too late to cancel because it was a no refund booking. There would be no way we would find another hotel on that short notice that had a pool that was accessible. It was a very expensive overnight trip because we live in Canada and the dollar is extremely high. We had three teenagers that were bored and that was very costly and disappointing. I'm not sure whether to lay the blame on Expedia or the hotel. I have already let Expedia know as well how disappointed we were. Besides that it was clean and friendly and the breakfast was very good

Never stayed at the hotel. Had to call and cancel our reservation with them because Expedia failed to inform us that the hotel's indoor pool was shutdown for repairs. Expedia needs to check with the hotels and inform potential guests when a hotel isn't offering their normal amenities.

We usually have a good experience here; however, this time when we booked I called and asked about their pool, as it states under renovation on their website and we wanted to stay somewhere with a pool. They stated that I would be able to swim at their sister hotel across the road. However, when I arrived to check in I was told that we could not use the pool. Our whole family was extremely disappointed as were other guests.

We have always loved it here when staying in bangor for a night or two! We were disappointed when the pool went done and we were not prepared for it its my granddaughters favorite pool. So on this trip even though it said on the app that the pool would be open we were prepared for the worse. It was still down on this trip but we will for sure be back on our next trip in hopes for a open pool lol the staff with their always willingness to meet your needs, cleanliness and all that comes with the stay is worth coming back!!
