The facility is billed as “Retro”, and its is … 1950s motif and all. It is very convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor and at a fair price. The included breakfast buffet was better than most. The staff is very friendly and helpful and provided a number of nice touches, like the morning trail mix, stamped postal cards, and the fire pit in the evening. Unique. Atypical. We’re glad that we stayed.

The grounds of the property were beautiful. Parking was very easy. The breakfast was good. They had free smores almost every night. I liked that it was in a quiet area and away from the business of downtown Bar Harbor

Love this Motel! Convenient, comfortable friendly. This motel has a Retro upgrade to the whole property. Rooms and Bed were fresh and clean. A really nice breakfast selection and a convenient path to the Acadia Park. Extra bonus, a bus stops in front of the property to take you into and back from town. Awesome place. Well worth the price

Perfect family getaway

Check in was quick and easy..this motel takes you back in time. Super clean The family room was perfect to have two bedroom for one room rate. We loved it and would stay here again in a heartbeat

We enjoyed our short stay. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the retro decor/theme of the place was fun. The biggest surprise was the breakfast…it was much better than the usual hotel free breakfast! It was very close to Acadia which was a big bonus.

Quiet motel a short drive from downtown. Very clean and comfortable beds. They have nice continental breakfast, do s'mores outside by the fire a couple nights a week and rent out equipment such as binoculars which is great.

Buffet breakfast included with the price of the room had excellent choices. Clean, retro decorated rooms with a fridge and microwave. LL Bean shuttle bus to downtown stopped right outside the motel and ran every half hour which was very convenient.

Loved this motel. Newly renovated with adorable retro-style furnishings. Amazing breakfast with lots of choices- even had pumpkin spice syrup for the coffee. They were clearly going above and beyond with their hospitality. Close to Bar Harbor shops and restaurants but still quiet and peaceful.

This motel is outstanding in every way. The rooms are modern, fresh and clean. The staff is very friendly, helpful and available. The amenities such as s’mores at night, do it yourself. trail mix packages, terrific free breakfast, games, available to take to your room, and the free local bus service that comes right to the hotel every half hour make this stayjust delightful.
