A cute place to stay not far from Acadia or downtown Bar Harbor but away from the congestion. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Was able to check in early as the staff texted us when the room was ready.

This was a cute, and clean budget friendly option. We have visited the Acadia area for several years now, but this was our first time staying at Hanscom's. For the money, it's a great option. The decor is fresh and updated, and the fire-pit outside was a nice feature. The hot water wasn't super hot, and the rooms were a little small, but honestly for the money, it was a great value and we would stay here again.

Amazing beautiful little cabin with everything we needed. A ways outside of Bar Harbor proper, we ended up taking rides on the evening we wanted to have a drink in town. Beautiful garden, fire pit and confortable outside furniture. We gathered with other guest one night on the wind down and that was a nice perk we didnt expect. The traffic to Cadillac mtn in the morning is a buzz at 5 am to catch the sunrise. Pretty loud with windows open. Overall, this was a great place to stay

Four day stay

Property is a little close to major traffic. Hot water for showers needs major maintenance. It’s time to change out two chairs for something comfortable. The staff was amazing. The outside seating areas were great (just had too much traffic noise.

A gem near Acadia

This is a great place to stay. It is close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and are decorated nicely, with a very cute retro mini fridge and microwave. I loved the wallpaper. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the shelves in the bathroom were an unexpected plus. Our only suggestion would be to add a shade on the bathroom window. It was very convenient to be able to park right outside of the room. The grounds are beautiful. We loved the outside sitting areas, the picnic table, thé grill, and the fire pit, even though we didn't have time to use them all. The entire property is exceptionally well organized. We highly recommend it.

Clean room! I love that I didn’t have to interact with anyone! They texted me directions on how to get into the room and all was great! Kitchenette was clean and stocked with pots/pans, plates/glasses, cutlery/serving utensils. I will stay here again!
