Budget hotel dressed up as mid range

Very disappointed. We booked two adjoining rooms. Check in early and online like we were asked but when we got there had to fill out all the paperwork again “because each room was under its own reservation”. Nope, booked them at the same time, together and only got ONE text and email. But ok. Room looked ok. Walked in onto the laminate floors which were sticky, not appealing but felt clean enough in bare feet. SMALL BATHROOMS! Open door was one inch away from toilet. I am not a large women and had to navigate a bit to get the door closed, definitely not an accessible room. One bathroom had ICE COLD SHOWER WATER ONLY, the other made it to lukewarm. Had to finagle to get the hair dryer to work. Sheets were very ROUGH. Air con worked great. Breakfast was misrepresented. Unlike every other hotel it wasn’t self serve. You had to go to the bar and a man there scooped it up for you. You couldn’t see the food and there were no signs so everyone had to ask. The portions were massive which immediately made my food averse child say he wasn’t going to eat. You even had to ask for the toast, but if you wanted to toast it you had to go to another area. The man serving the food was sloppy looking. Although breakfast was busy there was only one person there so everyone had to wait and because there was no signs, no one found the food without other people telling them where to look. Non-smoking? Nope people smoke RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR so you breath that in too.

We had a great time and the place was clean and the staff helpful. The bathroom in our room was not finished (looked like the walls had been primed but not painted and the door handle was not fully attached). The main part of the room was very comfortable and nice.

The room was nice and clean, everything I requested was provided my only complaint was the tub, the tub was deep, it was hard to get in, no grab bars provided. The breakfast was delicious. I would stay there again.

The room was ok. The staff at the front desk were pleasant. Breakfast was terrible and has a weird setup. Stayed 2 nights, the second morning they were out of almost everything to serve. No plates, etc. Do not recommend this hotel.

Bed was comfy, bathroom small and the shower water was either hot or cold. It was no in between. The hallways always smelled like food because of the restaurant attached. The pool was nice however it was cloudy. The outside patio was nice with the two fire pits.

Hotel is old and outdated. Bathroom has a huge Jacuzzi with two shower curtains so no privacy in bathroom from bed area. Work desk receptacles did not work. Toilet would not flush properly and wash waste away. Sent security up at night to plunge it but no real luck. This mega room hotel has not night housekeeping. The restaurant lying is very dingy and outdated. Uses a broken waffle maker as one of the two units. How good is served to you on plates. You can’t take your own eggs, sausage and other goods on your own. Hotel really needs a big update.
