We chose this property because it had a pool. It was summer and the pool was full of dead leaves. We were told it was “seasonal”. Perhaps it opens in the winter?

Bare floors took getting used to. Had to swear socks when walking around to keep feet warm on bare floors. It’s a novel idea but I miss rugs. Also, finding hot water for shower was a challenge with the turning knob

The room and bathroom were renovated/modern and very attractive. My only concern was there was only one bath towel, no hand towel or washcloth and no soap/shampoo. I didn't want to walk down to the desk as it was a distance outside and after dark. Hopefully, this was an idolated QA issue.

Newly renovated property. Nice and clean. It is an older building and walls are thin. Could hear people in surrounding rooms walking, opening and closing doors. Made it tough to sleep when activities went late in tot he night or first thing in the am.

This property was recently renovated and they did a good job. The location was convenient and easy to locate and the room was nice, except the bed was a bit hard for my wife and myself. The only other thing lacking is the absence of breakfast.

The property was clean and the staff very pleasant, but the key card often stopped working. Also, the doors didn’t close easily (or securely) so we had to keep making sure we secured it after ourselves.

The property was clearly a different brand hotel previously and the renovations were sloppy and portly done. Messy paint job in our bathroom with black paint spots on the yellow tile, no handle to open patio door, holes visible in the door where the old knobs were prior to Wyndham ownership,etc. the property is tired and old feeling despite being ‘renovated. The bed was very comfortable though and the location was great.

The rooms are nice. Loved the renovations done but they are already getting a little worn. The buildings are just old! With no elevators!! Landscaping around the buildings really needs a lot of work too. I was excited about enjoying pool but it looked very dirty. Especially in the deep end. We felt the water was too dirty to even swim in. Bennington has been a favorite destination for us for years. The mountains are gorgeous. The old buildings are fascinating and beautiful, but I was shocked by how run down Main St has become. There was dog poop everywhere on the sidewalks and around most of the sidewalk trees. Many of the store fronts were vacant. The saving graces were the people who did have shops and restaurants. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming..

The property is nice overall. The room is large, the bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had to have one lamp changed out as soon as we checked in because it didn't work. The shower was nicely tiled but the water controls were too low on the wall and you had to stand in the shower spray to turn it on and adjust the temperature because of the way the shower doors were installed. This means you had to endure a cold water blast before getting any warm water. We also had some trouble getting the door to lock on leaving. On check out the office was closed and locked so we could not obtain a receipt or get some morning coffee. I understand it is a newer property and they are still working out some bugs. To t heir credit, the staff was quick to respond to our problems.
