Bed was very comfy and room spotlessly clean. Quiet for a good night's sleep. Clerk at front desk for check-in was helpful and positive. Minor, but there were some fruit flies in the room and the lobby smelled skunky. Breakfast and coffee were ok. Great value/ location...didn't hear the highway, even though it was clse. even

Air conditioning literally did not turn on, thermostat didn’t turn on at all. My room was right above the indoor pool and I could hear children screaming all hours until the pool closed. The whole hotel smelled like mildew, especially in the hallways. The room was ok but DEFINITELY not cleaned thoroughly.

When we arrived, we had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to greet us at the desk. They were outside the side door taking a smoke break. Once we went into our room, it smelled like my grandmas basement. The bed was the best part of our stay. It is a ok hotel if your in the area and dont expect much. When we went to check out, again.....there was noone at the front counter. I would have liked to discuss our concerns, but there was never someone there that we could talk to.

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. The beds are super comfortable! The breakfast had a nice variety and the front desk staff was cordial. The pool had a sign that says the water was cold, so we didn’t want to chance it and freeze so we opted out. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I’ve stayed in this property countless times as New Buffalo is good stopover point. It’s sad but each time is a bit more disappointing. Last night the entire lobby, parking lot, hallways reeked of weed. It’s disgusting and getting out of hand.

We had booked this reservation to attend a wedding in the area. We arrived at the hotel at 1:00 PM and needed to be at the wedding venue by 2:30 PM. We were hoping to get early access to our room to Chang clothes. There was no one at the desk at anywhere near by. After about 20 minutes a maintenance worker came by and was able to find someone. This person was very rude and abrasive in telling us there was no rooms available and that under no circumstances could we get access to our room before 3:00 PM! We asked if there was a room we could change in that was not yet ready and again was told NO WAY! We ended up changing in our car! After the wedding we returned to the hotel, was greeted by a different person much more civilly and checked in. The room was clean and comfortable, but our stay was severely compromised by the experience with the first employee! We would not recommend this property for that reason!
