The beds are comfortable. The rooms are traditional basic hotel rooms with a TV & bath/shower. Rooms are clean. If you need mid-week bath towels you can ask at the front desk. They leave an extra set of sheets & an extra blanket in a drawer & there is a washing machine $3 snd dryer $3 on the first floor near the snack & soda machines.
Parking costs $25 per day extra in season & $10 per day after September 15.
The hotel is located across the street from the private beach accessed Sea Colony which may be the less expensive option. You can reach the beach from the hotel by crossing the street, and walking towards the boardwalk to a beach access road. After September 15 parking in Bethany is free—it’s metered in-season. The hotel allows dogs for a cost.
The pool at the hotel is cold. No hot tub. Outdoors with a view of a mini golf course & parking lot.
The hotel is close to a CVS, a Dunkin’ Donuts & restaurant.
The breakfast is included 7- 10 am. Cereal. Oatmeal. Scrambled eggs. Toast. English muffins. Pork sausage. Orange juice. Coffee. Tea. The breakfast staff are efficient and friendly.
The front desk staff is a blend. Most times I have stayed here, they have been friendly, helpful and efficient. The long term regular front desk blond woman who always wears a cross and a smile corrected the errors of others. She’s an A+.
To be honest, if it wasn’t for her, I’d return to renting at Sea Colony. We still might—
