The condo was nice and clean, and very comfortable for 4 adults. The beds are nice as well.But unfortunately the condo balcony and its furniture were not clean. Upon arrival, and wanting to sit on the balcony and hear the waves, we had to clean off the table and chairs before we could sit down. The balcony floor was dirty as well.In the kitchen, the equipment was minimal to unsatisfactory. For example, the coffee maker is a gerry- rigged combination of components. The glass coffee pot is a Mr. Coffee replacement and the coffee filter basket is from some other brand and is way too small. With every pot of coffee we made, regardless of no. of cups, the grounds flowed over and out into the coffee!!Yahoo!! Cowboy coffee- chewable!The condo clearly needs a new coffee maker.And there are NO FRYING PANS!!!! We had to fry eggs is a big pot. A small 10" and a bigger 18" frying pan are desperately needed. And the kitchen knives are terrible. A new set is needed as well.Also there were only 3 wine glasses. Some must have been broken by previous occupants, so the condo needs to have at least 6 usable wine glasses.Other than these nuisances, we had a lot of fun and were very comfortable, but be forewarned, there is no view of the ocean or beach. With two story garden condos in front of the Brandywine condo building, one needs to be on the sixth floor or higher to see the ocean.

NOT CUSTOMER Ready or WORTH the Money

The on-site team was amazing, their hospitality. Knowledge and support was on point. Any and all staff from the main office to the beach/pool attendees were exemplary. Unfortunately the unit was outdated, in need of multiple repairs. Holes in the wall, screws protruding from every room, popcorn ceiling pealing, kitchen sink leaking, balcony windows not cleaned, fake plants full of dusted, both toilet handel need to be tighten, poorly done drywall around breakerbox and other areas throughout unit. Dry required 2 rounds at the highest setting to dry 2 towels, 2 swimsuit and 2 bathingsuits. Master bedroom bed needs to be fixed underneath. 2nd room with 2 twins are actually not twins beds but are call youth beds not as description. Furniture was broken handles were off, scratches all over furniture, draws did not fit correctly. Not Worth the money spent, who do I need to speak with or contact for some reimbursement

Good but dated furniture

Kitchen was updated and nice. Furniture was old and not comfortable especially the couches. Master bed was great kids beds were stained and very uncomfortable. Toilets ran and ran after flushing, one handle broke during our stay. Flies all over the unit when we arrived but that might have been due to the cleaners leaving the doors open while they were working. The unit needs new furniture then I would recommend.

Review for week 7/10

Arrival and access to the unit was easy and convenient. We have been staying with Sea Colony for years and once again the unit was not cleaned to the standards we expected for the price being paid. I placed a call to management and a woman named Donna politely called me back to hear my complaints. I was told the cleaning fee would be refunded and I am still waiting on that refund!! Donna also stated that she was a covering manager and the assigned manager for Sea Colony property would be calling me back to address my issues. No phone call from a manager for that property was returned all week. Its understandable that help is difficult to find and many of the ancillary staff members are younger adults who are temporary for the summer season. This is not my first go around with the cleanliness of a rented unit at Sea Colony. However, just emerging out of a pandemic, cleanliness should be your number one priority. For what the consumer pays at this resort, housekeeping should not be an issue. My suggestion would be a training session for your hired help during your peak season of rentals. We enjoy your property but there is always room for improvement. Thank you.
