We were overbooked! I paid $1000 a night for 2 rooms, upfront. They could accommodate ONE room. When I had ONE RESERVATION FOR 2 ROOMS. We checked in before 8 pm. The could do thing for us except one of us down the road to a sub par hotel. Thankfully it was a group of 4 adults…but we travel with our children and get 2 rooms all the time. Clearly it would be acceptable for this hotel to split up a family if necessary. And they blamed Expedia. They basically said that they couldn’t help us bc we used Expedia. I’m at a loss. It’s not the first time that Expedia has been looked down upon with a reservation we have made. I guess we just need to go directly to the source. It’s ridiculous. We are getting the run around from The Graduate and I assume that we will get it from Expedia as well.
