I’ve stayed numerous times at Meadowbrook and consider it a go to lodging for the area. The only issue to note is the wifi is really slow and spotty. Not a deal breaker for me but it would be a pain if you expected to be able to work for your vacation. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay and I’ll be back.

Our stay was just ok. Having a room in the first floor is not ideal and room 102 is horrible. The room is connected to the reception/office. You hear every door slam of them walking in and out and just letting the door fall at full force. If there’s an event, you get to hear all the guest moving in and out. The view is of the parking lot for guest check-in. So leaving your curtains open is not an option. The hotel should consider putting guests of a wedding party or event on the first floor, since they will be part of the noise. Then guests who are not part of an event can be further away from the noise.

Unfortunately we needed to be in Blowing Rock that evening. I now wished I stayed in Boone and driven there. The room was dated but was very unclean with paint peeling everywhere and filthy floors and walls. Having paid nearly $500 for this “suite” I must say we were quite disappointed. If I could I would share the pics I grabbed while there!

Room was terrific just disappointed it was in annex bldg and not main lodge. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise as we didn’t realize it was included when booking. Gentleman in charge of bkft was great and friendly!
