The motel is just fine, clean with terrific service from front desk. But the walls and towels are very thin, and we found the adjacent restaurant way overpriced ($8 for one stemof bok choy as a side?) and very slow. Not a ton of lunch options in the area, either, but don’t miss “The Colonel’s” breakfast and blueberry donuts!

Everyone was super friendly and nice. It has a really pretty view. The restaurant next-door was really good. I think it’s a no-frills kind of place but it’s clean and reasonably priced for us. The biggest negative I would say is how thin the walls are we could hear the girls upstairs and there Word for Word conversation in the morning And the guy snoring next-door so just something to be aware of.

After arriving I was barely greeted by the front staff. Room was noisy, however after calling the front desk at 12:30 AM someone came to quiet people down outside my room. Walls are paper thin and it was very tough to sleep. When leaving I was not asked how my stay was. It was nice for location was but overpriced and noisy. I’ll definitely stay somewhere else next time.

The hotel is obviously very old, however that is not the issue. The issue is the creaking associated with having any room above your own causes intolerable noise. We went to bed early around 9pm and the people on top of us were running around until 12am. We later found out there were 6 people in one room. And they couldn't accommodate us with any other room. The beds are stiff, the pillows are not soft. Basically if you are looking for a good nights sleep after hiking this isn't the place to be. The staff were not helpful in addressing anything, even in giving us a later checkout there were excuses, however with the one hour provided it was obvious there was no one left at the hotel to not consider providing that option. Overall just a bad experience

Was no information or a menu available for the restaurant next door ... which by the way the food was fenomenal ❤️. The front desk staff was very helpful and professional but the inn is outdated lacks of new equipment and infrastructures but overall it was very clean!!

Got put in one of the few rooms without a patio/balcony. Every other room had that or at least chairs in front of motel room. There was no other place to sit outside like a picnic table or anything. Would have been nice to have a firepit or some nighttime activity. But location was convenient, pretty by harbor & restaurant was awesome.

The bus stop is near to the hotel. Harbour view is excellent from the balcony. Staff members are really helpful and service is great. We highly recommend Kimball Terrace Inn Northeast Harbor.

Delightful Stay at Kimball Terrace Inn

Kimball Terrace Inn at Northeast Harbor is a great place to stay for experiencing Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. There are lots of things to do in the area and the inn is in a great location.
