The property was okay overall. The carpet in the rooms needs to be removed and replaced with a newer flooring system. The carpet contain dirt spots and looked unsanitary in certain places. Replace it new ceramic or vinyl flooring.

From the moment I arrived at the Sonesta, the service surpassed expectations—and it was largely due to individuals who exemplify dedication and genuine hospitality. Lee at the Front Desk, is nothing short of extraordinary. She wears many hats (and no, this is not an exaggeration). Whether it was managing the front desk, assisting in the restaurant, restocking essentials or simply ensuring guests felt at ease, Lee did it all with elegance and calm precision. Her professionalism, grace under pressure and empathetic approach—even when I encountered a minor issue—proved she’s not only a capable leader but the heartbeat of the guest experience. She is truly the kind of person who elevates a brand. Equally commendable were the housekeepers on the 3rd floor and their supervisor. Though I regret not catching their names, their warmth, kindness and attentiveness made me feel like I was visiting cherished relatives. There was an undeniable sense of care in everything they did—an authenticity that can’t be taught. (One of the ladies had short hair with twists in her hair and the other had ombre braided plaits- they are sweethearts). This stay didn’t just feel like a hotel visit; it felt like a return to family. I left refreshed, valued and truly cared for. I’ll certainly be back—and I’ll be recommending Sonesta to anyone seeking a refined, homely experience where hospitality is more than a job—it’s a calling.
