Outdated and noisy our room was right by the highway yet there seemed to be plenty of vacancies away from road not very secure deadbolt did not function. Water issues workers onsite attempting repairs.TV issues with no instructions

The guy at front desk was very nice. Our room was on the 2nd floor which only has stairs up to it which feel dry rotted when walking on them. You have to Slam the door to get it to close. The room was big but was not clean especially in the bathroom behind the door! Very poor ventilation in the bathroom also. The bed was so hard!! The room was big I’ll give it that, but very dated for the $$$ I paid for it. I’d honestly rather pay an extra 300 next time and stay at the resort across the st, which I called to see if I could switch to, but they were sold out so we were stuck because everywhere was booked this past weekend too. I would not recommend it especially since it’s the same price as all the other hotels in the area. Cute when lit up at night but definitely would not stay again nor recommend!

Very small couch futon ! Uncomfortable for sitting yo watch TV ! TVs are very small for space ! Ceiling fans look like they are falling from ceiling from moisture and humidity blades are falling down and can't adjust them to run different speeds small trash cans but overall good on everything else

An older building does not tell the story. The rooms were immaculate. I had a king bed which was huge. It was quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. The only negative was a small parking lot.

We stayed at the Boxwood Lodge recently for a little family fall weekend getaway. It was our first time visiting Blowing Rock, and we had the best time. It was like walking through a Hallmark movie. We loved the Boxwood Lodge! The staff was friendly, our room was spacious and clean, and we slept well. The location is perfect to be able to walk instead of having to drive in all of the traffic. We will definitely stay at the Boxwood again!

The property was just wonderful. The room was clean and staff had turned on the heat before our arrival, which was very thoughtful. Our only negative experience was the heating and a/c unit in the room. Since it was not central air, the unit was extremely loud when it cycled on. Otherwise we loved our stay.
