This place was just average. I was disappointed because the Expedia reviews had been so great! The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. But the place had stained seat cushions and the smell of the carpet in my room was awful. I have stayed at five different hotels in Boone. This was the lowest quality and I do not plan to go back.

Great stay minus the creeking.

My stay was great minus the creeking noise in the tub when i showered. That was quite annoying & should really be fixed.

Good location. Room was generally clean, but had a smell when we walked in, probably the carpet. Bathroom had several issues. Faucet dripped continuously, toilet seat was loose, and shower head was leaking. We tried to adjust shower head, and it fell off. Staff did fix the other issues while we were at dinner, but see pictures for condition of bathroom. Bedding,’pillows and mattress were uncomfortable. Free breakfast was very basic. Price for Friday- Saturday was 2 1/2 times more than during the week. Very expensive for the condition.

Our room eas quite humid even with air conditioner running. Also the shower floor squeaked when you stood in it. Desk clerk told me most all of the rooms did that because the hotel was 40 yrs old...time for renovationd!

Enjoyed outdoor seating and breakfast! Bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Towels were nice and we appreciated extra set from the beginning. Although the room was large and had been cleaned, there were a few stains on the carpet and the dresser/console had several nicks, paint touch-ups that were noticeable.

Comfortable and convenient.

Pros: friendly and helpful staff, ample parking, good selection for breakfast, pool and hot tub were nice. Cons: facility showing its age, bathroom fixtures were not ideal, but there was good water pressure and hot water. A/C was loud, but did blow cold air. Carpet seemed musty, but it is a pet-friendly hotel. Overall, it was comfortable and convenient location.
