clean, easy to access room , all on ground floor, very good value. far enough away from freeway, courteous staff. i always stay there when I'm in Livingston
Overall very nice and quiet.
Could have used another blanket but room was so warm didn’t really need it till i figured out how to turn the heat off.
Light in bathroom was very dim.
To be fair, we did not mention any of this to staff, mostly because there was no one at desk.
I have given this hotel my business multiple times. The rooms are decent for the price/location. But it isn't worth the frustration. The manager/owner is never there. I received no email or text with checkin instructions but the reservation confirmation said check in begins at 4 which is late. I'm a business professional who travels a three state territory and have very long days. Yesterday I was up before 3:00 a.m. and had driven 6 hours plus conducted 5 business meetings by 2:00 p.m. I needed to rest and get ready for a team zoom call at 5pm. So I had to kill 2 hours waiting to check in. When I arrived there was another person waiting to check in but the manager or owner was nowhere. Unfortunately, there's a sign at check-in telling you what to do if you arrive, but the other person was standing in front of it and I had no way to know there were instructions to text the manager. He did not tell me but we both just stood there wasting valuable time with no one there to greet us and help us. She eventually arrived at 4:24 p.m.. I was then provided with the welcome message I should have received earlier that day informing me how to check in. After check-in, my room was extremely hot and there were no instructions about how to reset the temperature. So I had to reach out to the front desk and she sent me a video. Then when I had finished my business meeting, I tried to use the television but had no channels. Manager came to my room instead of helping me on phone.
Everything was in nice shape - liked the towels - Pillows were awesome and bed was quite comfortable. The heat was hard to adjust & the bathroom tub had mold in the corners. Liked the quiet fan and lights being labeled so you knew what was what. Staff were kind and helpful. Parking was great too.

Up dating was good but is showing some age. Not as good as the discription sounds. Parking lot needs repairing. Bugs seen in the middle of the night. No one on site.
I had very mixed emotions about my stay here. There is a playful tone to the rooms and the exterior decoration that is delightful. I think any child would respond to it and I did too - although childhood is a long way in the rear view mirror for me. The negatives were that when I first came in the owner wanted to tell me that check in was at 4 and checkout was at 10. I replied that was rather unusual as 3 and 11 are the standards and it felt like the customers were being squeezed. The surrounding area is a little rough. I don't think it's dangerous though. There is a nice Mexican restaurant within easy walking distance that offers good and plentiful food. So, again, it's a mixed bag.
