Were very accommodating in letting our party add an extra night to our stay. Check in and check out was done completely by text, which made things easy considering we arrived on a late flight into Bozeman. Rooms were clean, a little small for 4 adults, but it was all we needed for the two nights we were there, as we were gone the majority of the day. Convenient parking. You could pull up right to your room. Enjoyed walking the area in the mornings. Would definitely stay again!

Livingston inn is right off the highway, fantastic communication/check in, easy to use locks/doors. The room was clean and quiet (and dog friendly!) and fully stocked with coffee and clean towels. Internet was strong and dependable. Great little spot!

Ok hotel

Good hotel. Good location to visit Yellowstone. Small town. Good room. Only downside , either they don’t have AC , or our rooms did not work. Can get hot and uncomfortable

Too Pricey for what you get.

Everything was fine. Liked the auto dead bolt. The room was small and Twice the Price that it was worth. Stayed the next night in Fargo and had a better bigger room and cost was half the price. Won't stay in Livingston anymore.

Check-in said to call or text a number, no one would answer phone or texts. Did not get a room for which I pre-paid; total fraud. Had to get a room across the street at Hilton Hotel. Went by next morning to get refund and no one working front desk and had sign on door to call or text same number. Still no answer; total fraud and misrepresentation! Hilton Hotel across street said we were lucky and that the Livingston Inn had bed bugs!!

Nicely renovated with fun quirks

It’s a surprisingly well renovated older motel. The facade gives an inner hallway that reduces busy interstate noise to nearly nothing. Comfortable beds, lots of plugs available for electrical devices, nice shower. It is an old property but very well done renovation with western theme charm. The electronic locks are the only thing that aren’t great, makes shutting the doors difficult sometimes and at 5:30 when most are headed out to Yellowstone the slamming doors is startling.

Unique and comfortable

This is a unique motel. It looks like an old saloon style building. They have done a good job with upgrades. The beds were okay. The bath towels were plush and like your home. The y have left instruction cards for everything (great touch). Our AC was on a timer and we could not figure out how to get it off, but we did not call front desk so that was on us. The room even comes with a box fan which we loved. The care and character. Of this please is way better than a Best Western style chain.

The Livingston Inn is like the motor inn from Cars—but western. Vintage, old-school charm, and a cozy, cowboy vibe make this the perfect roadside stop in Montana. Simple, clean, and full of character.

Retro-renovated

Was a little concerned when we pulled up. No reception at 6:30 pm. Followed instructions on the door and go in. Wow! Very clean, lots of retro character but updated. Neat as a pin and so much FUN!!

Check in was great, our room was comfortable and nice. Biggest issue was we did not check for the sheets for the futon until around mid-night and there were none. No way to resolve this at this time, phone was not answered, told me to text but that was not answered until morning. We were creative and made do.

It was dark, outdated. The picture and reviews were misleading. Described as being the gateway to Yellowstone. More than 50 miles from the park. Noisy and run down. Very disappointed. Rented for two nights, left the next day with no refund.

Charming Surprise

This place what a charming surprise... I have to admit, I wasn't sure what to expect. The location was easy to get to... right off the interstate. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything you'd expect. The view from the parking lot blew me away. I would stay again.
