Customer service was excellent from the moment we booked.
The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants, the mall, grocery store, and waterfront park.
We stayed in an extended stay king suite with a kitchenette, which was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The room was equipped with pots, pans, dinnerware, and utensils for three. The only thing missing was a cutting board.
The pool, sauna, and hot tub were great and well maintained. We loved that the pool temperature was actually cool and not luke warm. We also appreciated extended pool hours at this hotel. The pool is open from 7 am to 11 pm.
We did not partake in the complimentary cocktail hour. Each adult received a coupon for one of the following: a glass of wine, one beer, or well drink. Breakfast was decent. They had fresh fruit, sausages, potatoes, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, made to order eggs and an omlette bar. I also saw bagels, bread, and mini muffins in a case by the bar.
My only complaint and reason for 4 stars is solely because we had chain smokers next door. Our room was on the lower lowel with a door that lead to a beautiful lawn with water views. We could not open the window or hang out on the lawn because the two people next door chain smoked the entire time. What made it worse was the cigarette smoke was being sucked in by the AC unit so we were breathing in 2nd hand smoke. At one point, we had to leave the room because the smell was so strong.
