A pungent perfume smell in the room was overwhelming and required the windows to remain open throughout the stay. An unsolicited call at 5:20am interrupted a sound sleep the morning of departure. The 24/7 front desk did not answer to explain the call. Upon checking out explanations regarding the call and speculation about the room’s smell suggested prior knowledge of covering up smoking in this non smoking establishment and the occurrence of automated calls. Lastly, an undisclosed occupancy charge was made well after receipt of checking out. The explanation was that third party reservations excluded the charge in its bookings. The property was aware of this third party booking and upon checking in should have made known the unsecured occupancy charge would be due. The suggestion that these complaints would be noted and addressed for future stays failed to convey a true notion of concern for this customer’s willingness to pay for a repeat experience.

This hotel was wonderful. It was friendly, exceptionally clean. The rooms were spacious. It was in a good location. Excellent parking. The check in person was particularly gracious, friendly and helpful.

I thought when I had booked through Hotels.com that the offer included a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, but when I asked about it later after check-in, the desk did not know anything about it. Dinner and breakfast at Hudson's Grill was great. Noticed that room had not been updated with modern electrical outlets for charging phones, laptops and other electronics.

This hotel was adorable. I loved all of the architecture and decor. The sound of birds chirping being played in the hallways was a clever touch and enjoyed touch. We only stayed the evening, but I had wish I had found the hotel sooner. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast and both meals were exquisite and the staff was top tier. Highly recommend.
