We have visited the hot springs before but this was our first time staying there. We loved it! Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and modern. The food from Mary’s steakhouse was delicious and not too too expensive (our last trip was to Disney so it was refreshing to not be price-gouged!). It was so nice to have early entry to the hot springs in the morning too.

Fantastic Hot spring pools

The hot spring pools were very clean, and had a lot of variety, including adults only pools. Dinner in the dining room was good, but not spectacular (next time we'll drive into Buena Vista for dinner). Well worth the stay and a good value because of the fantastic hot springs.

Stay was great. The dishes were washed but still in the dishwasher so did not discover for two days. The dishwasher still had condensation so what we used got rinsed. You need to leave directions, perhaps in a book in the suite. On how to use the microwave and the coffee maker. I wanted to warm up pizza but no place to do seconds, just minutes. Pushed END button to stop before a minute and the microwave went crazy. Beeping OFF with noise and could not stop it. Finally my son pushed to and it stopped but only after several minutes of beeping. Need better directions to the suites as difficult to find ours as #is not on the road sign.

Very Pricey!! We asked for coffee for following days never received it so had to go to market to get it..The lockers in the changing rooms most don’t work… no special dessert for birthday for the price you pay for dinner and room.. VIP status but none of the perks were offered…

Mt Princeton Resort - a place to return to

The Mt Princeton resort overnight stay exceeded our expectations. We received very warm welcome, upgraded suite, two day passes to all pools plus access to the Club house (adults only). Water was crystal clear and perfect temperature in all pools.

I was so excited to stay at Mount Princeton Resort until I experienced one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever been through. The room was gross, and poorly cleaned. The vents looked like they had enough mold in them for a decade. After trying to go to the bathroom, realized the toilet was not even working. Called the front desk. Waited for an hour for a maintenance person to show. Finally came and the toilet still wasn’t fixed when we tried to use it (after the “fix”. Called front desk again, and they offered another room in the boonies away from walking distance to amenities and said it was “an upgrade”. After I stated I only wanted to stay in the area I was in, they offered me a cabin but with a $100 charge. The manager then hung up on me when I told him he wasn’t listening to what I needed. I ended up leaving the resort and had to demand that my credit card not be charged a cent. (Since we didn’t even stay in the room more than 4 hours—but they insisted on charging me a “cleaning room fee”. Ironic. Don’t stay at the resort. It is over priced and poorly maintained.
