Staff were very pleasant. Restaurant staff were awesome, but food was not. Overall our room Was clean and spacious, but showed major signs of wear and tear. Loose tiles, banged up furniture. Beds were decent, and robes were appreciated. Hot tub was warm bath water at most and one tun was always out of order, so operating tub was always packed. Airport shuttle was good, it’s close to airport, but wish there were more dinning options close buy.

This is a perfect hotel to stay at if you want to have a truly relaxing place to stay before or after an international flight. You have the option of paying a small fee to check in at noon. There is a good restaurant, rooftop hot tubs, a fitness room and the rooms are big and the beds are extremely comfortable. I had a room with a soaker bathtub. If you want to just recover from a busy travel itinerary and hang out in a really nice hotel this is a great option. Also the staff are fantastic and the shittle bus to and from the airport is very convenient. One of the best hotel experiences I have had.

Calgary Welcome

My family and I stayed at Applause for our first and last nights in Calgary. The rate, location, and airport shuttle were perfect. We had dinner in the lobby restaurant and the drinks and fish and chips were fantastic (the burgers we saw passing by us were huge and looked delicious). The rooms are spacious, beds comfy and the shower had spa-like shower heads that were a treat. Great amenities as well. The included breakfast had a nice selection to choose from as well. Staff was very friendly - a great stay all in all.

The only downfall is the property says that it’s soundproof rooms and I was able to hear ppl walking above me, next rooms tvs, ect. It is not soundproofed rooms as it’s advertised.

The restaurant downstairs was yummy! A little overpriced for the quality, but large quantity. Lots of free parking. The room was amazing, clean and tidy. I enjoyed the hot-tub/bath deck.

We enjoyed the convenience of a morning shuttle to the airport after our one night stay before our flight back home. The room was spacious and had great amenities, however was not as clean as we would have liked it to be.
