Check in was great. Room seemed clean and smelled clean. Quickly noticed floor was not clean, second day, bugs coming out of the sink. On day before check out, I found a bug in the bed when I pulled up the sheets. I compared the bug to a picture of a bed bug and am very confident that is what it was. We checked out immediately. Manager called to say they had inspected the room and that there were no signs of bed bug infestation. He was trained in bug ID and that it wasn't a bed bug. He did not tell me what it was. I have a picture

We had terrible service between the hotel and Expedia. Neither was willing to work on canceling our reservation and seemed to both try to throw the other organization “under the bus” while putting blame or responsibility on the other. We actually have no idea of the cleanliness etc of the hotel but rating those topics was the only way to get to the final review section.

We often stay at this hotel when we are in Calgary. The staff is great, there is a pool and hot tub, it is not super far from the zoo, science center, cobbs farm, Crossiron. Near lots of restaurants and shopping
