I love the layout and cleanliness of the room. I was extremely disappointed that they were under renovations in the pool area and we didn’t know when we made the reservation, otherwise we would have chosen a different hotel. we were looking forward to the hot tub and pool.

The family suite had very bad air citculation. The air conditioner was only in the Master bedroom and the cold air did not reach the other sleeping area so half the space was cold and half hot. Also only the Master bedroom has a window so it was very dreary in half the space.

The rooms are extremely dated. We stayed here for proximity to a venue close by. The pricing of the rooms doesn’t reflect the feeling of a time warp.

The hotel is far off the beaten track and certainly not easily accessible to Calgary. Staff were mostly helpful and the room was comfortable but unless you are planing to entertain the suite is far move than is needed and not particularly comfortable. My biggest complaint was the air conditioning that was very noisy and made sleeping difficult. I finally unplanned the unit in the bedroom as housekeeping failed to deal with it. Certainly would not book there again unless as a last resort.

AC was very loud and ran all night, if you shut it off or turned it down then the room became hot, so had to leave on all night. Pool and hot tub were closed and only found out at check-in. They are closed for renos and have been closed for some time. Area around has a starbucks and lots of fast food options.

Older building. Room was good but smelled like a smoker stayed in befor me. I opened the windows and smell eventually went away. Wall paper ripped, clean but you can see dirt on baseboards. Room was good though Bed was comfy. Staff were friendly.

Terrible Stay – Never Again I had an awful experience staying here with my family and would never return. The place is old and run-down. The AC barely worked, blowing weak, warm air, making it hard for the kids to sleep in the heat. Even worse, using the microwave caused the entire room’s power to go out. We had to call maintenance three times just to get the power switched back on — and since the breaker wasn’t located in the room, we had no idea how to fix it ourselves. Meanwhile, we were stuck in a hot room with no AC. We also requested housekeeping early in the morning before heading out — just basic service like fresh towels and a quick refresh. When we returned six hours later, nothing had been done. At 3:30 PM, we asked the front desk if housekeeping was still coming. They told us it was too late because we didn’t hang a sign on the door — but there was no sign provided in the room. When we mentioned that we had called in the morning to request service, they claimed there was no record of it. Only after going back and forth did another receptionist finally admit she had taken our call. They then scrambled to send someone who did the bare minimum. No complimentary breakfast, no bottled water, and staff who weren’t very welcoming. I’m honestly shocked this place is still in business. Next time, I’ll happily drive a few more minutes to stay somewhere newer and friendlier. Don’t do it – stay elsewhere.
