The Get Away Cabin (Cabin 2)

Enjoy the luxury of hearing the White River flow by relaxing on our cover deck. This very spacious cabin has 1 master bedroom with two comfy queen size beds, a loft with a queen size bed along with a single bed and in the living room with a pull out queen sofa bed. 1 full bath on main floor and a 3/4 bathroom in the loft. This wonderful Cabin is located just outside the quaint little town of Calico Rock, AR. However, the first thing you will notice is the amazing views, views, views! This cabin sits next to the world famous White River, which flows right out the Cabin's back door. While the front of the home overlooks stunning rock bluffs. Upon arrival you will feel right at home and all your worries and stresses will disappear.

You can enjoy the endless trout fishing practically right off the back deck. If you have your own boat on this vacation there are public boat ramp's less than a mile down the road from the cabin. You will also be able to grill up your catch of the day on the front deck bbq while enjoying a gorgeous view of the river. Don't forget to sit back, relax, and soak it all in.

We are so disappointed in how your VRBO rental has been handled today. We flew from Wilmington, NC via Dallas and then Little Rock AR today and then drive to Calico Rock to meet and visit with our first grandson.. We never heard from anyone until 5:30pm this afternoon after 3hours of searching, calling and recalling and more searching… once we did find the road the one lane driveway gate was locked… Once we finally received access and gate code after 4 calls to VRBO and then diving down your driveway my wife was so petrified and concerned for her, her son and grandsons lives…she simply said it was unsafe for us to stay in your VRBO. We are asking for a full refund as we feel like this 1/2 driveway is simply unsafe for travel (especially at night) when out kids and grandkids would be traveling home. Simply said, unsafe and unacceptable for driveway access to this property. Thank you for your understanding. We hope you support our request.

Such a relaxing trip!

My husband, mom, and I came to watch the eclipse in its totality, but I would come back just to sit on the back porch again. The location was amazing - river views from the back porch, bald eagles frolicking overhead, and an easy walk to the cute town of Calico Rock if we wanted to do a little shopping or grab some local fare. The hostess was incredibly nice and helpful, too. As of April 2024, the cabin is not on Google Maps but she got us there without trouble. And it is PERFECT. I would have given the location more stars if I could've!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. Staying on the river was a dream come true for us. There’s something about watching the water rise and the sun going down while sitting on your porch and enjoying the scenery. We hope to do this again sometime.

My husband and I had his parents, our youngest son, and one of his friends for the weekend. They guys played golf and fished. We enjoyed their catch that evening on the grill. The river was beautiful and we enjoyed the view!

Wonderful weekend getaway.

My husband and I went for a weekend with our teenage son and his friend. The cabin was clean and cozy, the kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the beautiful view and peaceful setting. Definitely recommend.

This is a cute cabin in a lovely setting. There is no WiFi, TV doesn’t work well, and kitchen needs are very limited. But if you want a safe, peaceful getaway and plan accordingly, you’ll have a delightful stay.

Wonderful!!

My husband and I came for peace, quiet and a little fishing. We were not disappointed. Lesa was very sweet and accommodating. The house is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We met Charlie Allen, who runs the Lindsey Trout Dock and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great fishing experience. Beautiful area!

A simple yet big enough cabin for our family. We loved waking up to the river views and enjoyed the local establishments. Everything in working order except the bathroom tub on main floor didn't drain properly. Owners were very accessible and helped us when we got lost:) We would love to come back!
