great in town location

We enjoyed our one-night stay at the Camden Riverhouse. The hotel was in a great location to town and the waterfront. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The vibe was comfortable, the lobby welcoming, and we loved the firepit in the evening with the s'mores bar.

Camden is a nice town and the Riverhouse is convenient to the waterfront, shops and restaurants in the center. They offered an included breakfast, parking and encouraged mingling around the backyard firepit. I had scheduled one night there, would have liked to stay longer.

The property was close to everything. Overall a very nice clean building. It was the human capital that was lacking. We were there for 5 days and never had our room serviced. The Breakfast was broken down 15 minutes early. My daughter asked if she could get some furit that was already placed on the cart, the employee stated that the breakfast was over. They proceeded to pull the rest of the food with an attitude. I guess if you want breakfast, don't show up 15 minutes before closing time. Otherwise, the rooms are old, but clean. Good location.

The Riverhouse is in a great location, walkable to many restaurants in Camden. Staff is very nice, fire pit every evening. Breakfast is decent. The hotel could use a refresh.

Great Location.

Our stay was good. Great location, good breakfast. Notice in Elevator to be sure to tip Cleaning Staff, but you need to stay for three days and then you get a mild cleaning. Really no room cleaning. Could use a little maintenance, but overall very good.

An older building but nice. The parking was a bit cramped but workable. Not many luggage carts to use and there's stairs or a ramp to carry up. Location is perfect. Walk everywhere. Staff was friendly. Very charming.

The location is unbeatable—right in the center of Camden, just a short stroll to the harbor, shops, and restaurants. Yet, despite being so close to everything, the hotel feels tucked away and peaceful, especially with its lovely garden and outdoor seating areas. Our room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The heated indoor pool was an unexpected bonus—perfect after a day of exploring! What stood out most was the atmosphere: welcoming, family-friendly, and refreshingly genuine. You can tell the team here takes pride in making guests feel at home. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and convenient stay in one of Maine’s most beautiful towns.

The outdoor fire and s’mores was such a great touch to our experience. We had a nice chat with other guests and enjoyed a beautiful evening outside. Also I love how dog friendly it was with providing dog bones, toys, and a dog bed. I wish I could stay longer than just one night!
