For a Hampton, I just expected a lot nicer amenities. The room itself was nothing special, not much different from a motel 6 honestly. Also, I was woken up to construction workers outside my room without notice, which made me super uncomfortable

Check in a day early with Marissa at the desk was so much easier than trying to do that through Expedia. She followed up with texts asking how our stay was going and that she was there to help.

The room was very clean and staff friendly. We were disappointed there was no microwave in our room. The parking lot to walk the dog was well lit and security for access in after walking the dog was excellent. We were surprised at the $75 charge for a pet. Other hotels charge $25-50 per night. The breakfast was excellent with many choices of food items.
