The staff was very friendly and helpful. A perfect place to stay if you need just a bed and a shower. Unfortunately the hotel was being renovated. We did not have a renovated room. I wish we did. We were always out exploring and the hotel met our needs.

Beware of construction

The room wasn’t in great shape but I overlooked that… it was the construction at 8am I wasn’t aware. The put us in a room right next door to the construction. Saws and hammers woke us up both mornings and they said we couldn’t switch rooms.

Needing some work

Though there was construction to remodel nearby rooms, there were other issues that were relevant. Ants in the bathtub, it took the hot water over 10 minutes to heat up, and the jacuzzi was not working. The Continental breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

The location was good, but the property was not so good. There was construction going on to remodel the rooms, so there was pallets in the lobby and dumpsters in the parking lot. The door to my room, even though it was fully closed, still had a large gap at the bottom that bugs of any size could get in. The first morning I was there the water was warm even though I had the handle in full hot. The next morning when I was getting ready to check out, there was no hot water. I called the front desk and they sent the maintenance man to look at the water heater. He said it was running and it took time to circulate and I needed to let the water run a few minutes. By this time, the water had been running for 20 minutes. So I took a cold shower. I was loading my vehicle, I got everything loaded and I took my cup to get ice. I used my key card to get into the ice room and when I got back to my room, the key card didn't work. So I walked up to the office to get the key card re-programmed. I then went back to my room and the key card still didn't work. The office person saw I was having trouble on her camera and walked down to try the master key. It did not even work. So I could not get back into my room. It was a good thing I had already gotten all of my belongings out of the room. So I handed her my key card that did not work and told her I was checking out. I ended up leaving an hour early. Overall it was not a good experience.

The front desk ladies didn't look they were interested in doing their jobs of welcoming new guests, they were rude. When I approached them to check in about 45 mins early to check in, they said our rooms were not ready. Then after about 2 mins of talking, they suddenly said the room is ready, which I found to be strange. The coffee they served at breakfast was also cheap and tasted like it was decaf.

One of the worst run properties I've stayed in in a long time. First, the rooms were dirty and in disrepair. One of our rooms had clearly been smoked in despite being nonsmoking. I took that one and allowed my wife and daughter to have the better one. The next morning, however, my wife awoke to fire ants throughout her room, in the bed, and in both their luggage. Why? Because on investigation, the management had allowed garbage, trash, pizza boxed, and spoiled food to be stored near the building downstairs. (We arrived at night and did not see this.) Bags of food attracted the pests and infested rooms on this side of the building. We told them of this. Five hours later, when we returned to leave the place, the garbage was still there. Incidentally, the breakfast was unfit for consumption. Consider yourself warned about this one!

The property was undergoing what appeared to be extensive upgrades that I wasn't aware of. Pallets of supplies everywhere, the noise of construction very early in the morning. Floors in the room were dirty, the fixtures in the bathroom vanity and tub area were unfinished, cracked and missing caulk. The breakfast was a bit disappointing.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Anything we needed, we could ask at the front desk and they would take care of it. It was very clean. The property is undergoing a remodel so there were things around outside related to that. We had an issue with our air conditioner. We reported it to the front desk as soon as we could the next morning and maintenance was to our room very quickly. He changed out the unit right away.

The front desk wasn’t very friendly but did let us check in early. The room was dirty and not well taken care of. The breakfast was very lacking with only a few options of sausage or make your own pancake. There was 4 cereal options, poppy seed muffins, plain bagels, and bread. There was some oatmeal bags but not much and the juice machine was out of order. The little refrigerator in the room didn’t work and was leaking water all over. The hot tub was out of order and we were put in a room
