There were cigarette butts outside of the room which I cleaned up. It looks as if the property hasn't been swept in some time.

The first eoom we got had a clogged toilet. The second room we got didnt have stoppers in the sink nor bath drain. The beds and bedding were clean. Both rooms the toilets rocked (loose on their mountings) and rooms are kinda dirty and worn. There were pieces of breakfast cereal on the floor in both rooms. Very disappointed, will not be staying here again

We love White's City Cavern Inn! It is conveniently located between Carlsbad Cavern and Guadalupe Mt. NP. We had the second floor room and the ceiling is so high and the room was surprisingly spacious. They provide extra towels, which is always nice to see. Sorry I forgot her name but the lady in the front was friendly and I learned about the area and Carlsbad. They alerted us that there is nowhere to eat around after 3pm ahead of time, so we didn't panic. Overall, we were glad that we stayed here. Thank you.

Friendly staff at check in and at breakfast. Plenty of parking and very close to Caverns. Off season the nearby store is not well stocked and the nearby restaurant is closed on Mondays so you may have to drive into Carlsbad. Would stay again if in the area.

Very close to the caves, and closest hotel to Guadalupe. People friendly and helpful. Major plus is that it's locally owned and not corporate. That said, the heat in our room didn't work well at all, and the coffee maker was broken. We layer also rented a casita room for a night, and there was no hot water for showers or dish washing....water,

The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful. The property definitely needs some maintenance, and a bunch of the light bulbs didn't match which drove me a little crazy. We booked this hotel for it's location which is the closest to the caverns and Guadalupe mountains national Park. It definitely delivered on that. If you just need a place to rest and clean up after a busy day of adventures, this is the perfect place for you.
