The Place to Stay

Great location for going to Carlsbad Caverns. Take your own food. Breakfast was slim but what was there was fresh.

The young man didn’t have anything but 3 packages of cereal available for breakfast. He did stock it when I asked. A lady came in a bit later and also stocked it with fruit. There was no maid service

It was the perfect spot for an overnight stay for the caverns. Breakfast was simple, cereal/rolls, rooms were clean, but older. The pool was fine, our grandson and adult kids had fun on the one slide working. The pool area, splash pad and slides could use regular maintanance. It could be a diamond in the rough with a little extra care. Though it was perfect for our needs.

The rooms were very clean and front desk personnel were very nice. The reason I gave three stars was because of the splash pad area. We brought a toddler and were very dissapointed that the splash pad was just covered in slim. Bottom of pool was pretty dirty as well.

Overall Good Stay

The bed was super comfy, the breakfast options are limited but appreciated. The town is super small and cute! Loved how close it is to the Caverns! The drive to get there the next day was great. The pool could use some cleaning and the splash pad area too was a little dirty but my son enjoyed it. The room was spacious!!

Nice, convenient, super beds

This is a nice hotel. Conveniently located, clean, safe, lots of parking. It’s a little older and the AC wasn’t cold, but all in all a great stay. The beds are super comfortable.

Great kids hotel

Amazing place to stay with kids. The little water park was a huge hit with my kids and it was super close to Carlsbad caverns. And it’s such a good deal!!

Great location for visiting Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Note that all nearby restaurants are closed on Sunday and Monday.

This was the closet place to stay near Carlsbad caverns. Staff were friendly. It is an old motel. Rooms are old but clean. For the price we were happy.

We mainly booked this hotel for the splash area and slides. The splash pad was disgusting, it was COVERED in algae. So much so that it was basically unusable. None of the splash features were on. The slides close at 7 so we didn't get to use them. The big pool was a little more clean but still had several spots of algae. The room was clean and comfortable though and staff was friendly. As long as you don't care about the pool it's fine. My kids were so disappointed.

The pool/splash pad was cool but very dirty. One slide was turned off. Had a huge roach in our room. Some of the front desk people were not very nice. I seemed to be a bother rather than a guest. Did see a cool tarantula by the pool. They didnt empty trash cans very often all three were full most of the time being there the 4 days.

Rude staff.

Cute little motel great location near the caverns. Rooms are ok nothing to write home about. They were clean and AC was acceptable but not amazing. However the water park is only open 1 - 7 so you won't be able to use it if you get there late. The pool has different hour 10- 10 was what I was told at check in and is printed on the information in the room. However because the staff lied to me and refused to open the pool when scheduled to my daughter wasn't able to swim. I am not sure if she was being lazy or what... Refused to get her manager and lied to be about her name.

there was no times listed on what time the pool/water park opened and closed. i wish there would have been a clearly marked time frame. Also the front receptionist wasn't the most pleasant person to work with.
