The positives: it's an ok place, the price is right, it is clean, has a frig, microwave, and free breakfast. Cons: The pool was too cold (a heated pool should be 86-89 F. This felt like 80 F). Meanwhile, the hot tub was not hot enough. It wasn't just me as others complained too (it was probably 96 F--should be about 104). AND, it was small, such that during peak times, it's overcrowded. The jets were substandard. Every apple in the basket in the lobby was bruised. Nice free perk, but if you're going to offer it, do it right. I thought the woman at the front desk was a bit curt. Not rude, really, but just very abrupt and with no warmth at all. Case in point: I walk up and I'm standing there with my license and credit card in my hand. I tell her I have a reservation, and she says, "Picture ID, credit card." No please. No hello, no welcome, not how was your drive. If you deal with the public on a regular basis, you have to fake it even if you don't feel it.

room was good. breakfast was decent, the hot tub was not hot at all, more like pool temperature... we specifically book this hotel with hot tub, its nice to have it after skiing, but it becomes common for the hot tub to be cold or closed due mechanical issue or something else...

The bed was very comfortable -- and clean -- the bathroom perfectly sanitary, but some details weren't quite right . . . the shower never got warm enough; the sink faucet squirted water onto the vanity ciuntertop.

The breakfast menu was a highlight. It was very exciting to see that there were waffle makers. Parking definitely felt safe, but it was not very easy. The room was clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There are snacks in the lobby. They have bubblers for regular water and lemon water which was extremely helpful and tasty.

I’ve stayed at 3 hotels in the area and I’ve come back to this one twice. It will now be the one I stay at in the area. Mostly because they have a full breakfast and not just muffins and hard boiled eggs. But overall I like this place and love that it’s close to Rutland.
