Compare Hotels with Parking in Catalina Island

Pros and cons of staying at this hotel: Pros: -close to everything! The beach, restaurants, nightlife, etc. -ocean views were great -twin bed in the room was very comfy -suite has a kitchen (which came in handy for us) Cons: -has an old smell to it in the room - towels were cheap material -mini split was broken so they had a loud portable a/c unit in the room -main bed was very uncomfortable (literally felt like we were sleeping on bed springs) -small cable tv, so we had to watch Netflix through our phones -I thought all suites had bath tubs for a nice bubble bath but I guess not. Ours had a shower -the hot tub looked gross ngl I wouldn’t go in it -it is uphill and when I called to ask if they offer shuttle services, they said no and suggested I downloaded Circuit Ride which had a wait time of 19 mins just for a driver to arrive at our pick up location (took us a lot less to just walk up the hill with all of our luggage) -don’t trust the Apple Maps walking directions.

Property is up the hill. This provides great views of the marina and cruise ships but also means that you will have to drag your luggage across the whole town and up the hill to get checked in unless you catch a taxi or rent a golf cart which are all very busy at disembarkation. It’s cute and spacious but not updated at all

Very good time - great property on the island .. staff restaurant— all around.

This is an affordable place in a great location. They will let you leave luggage after your room has expired which is nice. We did have to wait 30 minutes to check in since no one was present at check in time. Overall no complaints really for the price.

A beautiful hotel and great location. Pretty flowers and surroundings. The premises are gorgeous. However, no staff on-site. Our keurig was filthy so that was really gross but a clean one was delivered later that day after I texted about it. Our bathroom sink had no hot water after 5 minutes of letting the water run while looking at a sticker on the mirror above the bathroom sink encouraging us to be frugal with our water use. Yikes. It’s a nice enough place, just hoped for better. I won’t stay there again but it’s a good economy option for a mid range price.
